Summer trips with our community

“Thank you to Newcomen Steam Festival and the Steam Railway, also St Petrox Trust for their sponsorship. Thank you Cllr Jo Hinde for all your help,” said Dawn of Dartmouth Community Chest.

The trip was part of the summer activities the charity and the community cafe fundraise for to offer a little sparkle and get together during busy summer times.

“It was a beautiful day on our river, something we hadn’t done before, then back to the community cafe for lovely cakes and some arts and crafts,” said Dawn.

There had also been a trip to take in the wonderful beach at Dawlish.

“Thank you to Barry from Roselyn coaches for taking good care of us. Many thanks to Townstal Rd Garage for the donation for the coach and all of you who donated towards the holiday fund. Thank you to all of you for making it a special trip.

“We had a fab day, more fun days to come.”
